Penthrox® (methoxyflurane), commonly referred to as the “Green whistle” was developed in Australia as an analgesic. With over 40 years’ use in Australia largely in the prehospital setting, it’s time to take a fresh look at when to consider Penthrox® for acute pain in the burns setting.

Join us for an interactive session with Ms Mel Neely (Burns Liaison Nurse, Victorian Adult Burns Service) and Ms Eliza Palfery (Pain Liaison Nurse, Acute Pain Service) as they share their real-world experience with Penthrox® at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
